Origin: Football Grey, Sail and Light Chocolate is a three tone name with not one word of sport in it, and that is the interesting part. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG is the original panel pattern with the collar cut down, descended directly from the shoe Peter Moore drew with Bruce Kilgore for a rookie Nike signed in October 1984 and released to the public on 1 April 1985. Dressing that pattern in muted greys and browns turns a basketball boot into something closer to a leather trainer you would wear to work. The silhouette is strong enough that stripping the colour out does not weaken it, it clarifies it.
